Biography

born into the TSUKISHIRO clan, a hereditary sorcerer lineage recognized for its mastery of shadow-based shikigami techniques.before the world knew her as eli, eliza tsukishiro was born into a family of jujutsu sorcerers known for their inherited technique, nine veils. similar to the zenin clan's ten shadows, the technique allowed its wielder to summon an ancestral fox shikigami through shadows, with each manifestation possessing an additional tail and its own unique ability. however, unlocking each tail required a subjugation ritual, and with every successful ritual came a sacrifice. whether it was a memory, an emotion, or a piece of one's humanity, the fox always demanded something in return.the tsukishiro family considered these sacrifices necessary, even honorable. eliza, having shown exceptional talent from a young age, had successfully subjugated the six-tailed fox by seventeen and the seven-tailed fox by nineteen. while her family celebrated her accomplishments, eliza slowly began to lose pieces of herself in the process.she remembered having a childhood best friend, but couldn't remember her name. she remembered being afraid of thunderstorms, but couldn't recall why. with every tail she gained, another part of her disappeared. what she didn't know, however, was that nothing was ever truly lost. the foxes remembered everything she had forgotten.
